Since the EZXcavator™ comes in a 10-inch wide size and you can dig down up to 20 inches deep, this is the perfect piece of equipment to make installing an irrigation system a hassle-free project. However, your hoses and tubes only need to be a few inches below the ground to be the most effective. Once you have the trenches dug, poke small holes in the hoses and tubes, connect them to a water source and lay them in the trenches. Cover them with the excess dirt and watch the plants thrive!
